A man was charged after he allegedly used a gun to take a man’s belongings on Dogwood Drive Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 21-year-old Jacob Williams pointed a gun at a man and took his money and iPhone.
Williams was located and police say he had several BB guns and the phone case but did not have the gun that was described in the robbery or the phone.
After he was arrested he was reportedly found to have meth on him at the jail. He is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree promoting contraband.
