Joint funeral services for 32-year-old Kelsey Venable Holder, of Pembroke, and Hazel Kensley Holder, stillborn, will be 2 PM Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Dan Huck is officiating.
Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the service hour.
Kelsey’s survivors include:
Husband, Wesley Shane Holder;
Parents, Charles and Sharon Venable, of Pembroke;
Brother, Michael (Sarah) Venable, of Pembroke;
And five nieces and nephews.
Hazel’s survivors include:
Father, Wesley Shane Holder;
Maternal grandparents, Charles and Sharon Venable, of Pembroke;
Paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Tina Holder, of Hopkinsville;
Aunts and uncles, Michael (Sarah) Venable, of Pembroke, and Trevin (Mia) Holder, of Louisville;
And seven cousins.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Both passed away Tuesday morning, March 21, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Kelsey was born May 7, 1990, in Hopkinsville. She was a 5th Grade teacher at Pembroke Elementary School and a member of First United Methodist Church. She loved to travel, be outdoors, read, teach and cook.
