
Kentucky State Police are investigating a murder in Caldwell County.
According to KSP spokesman Trooper Brandon McPherson, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department requested Post 2 to conduct a death investigation at a home at 2848 Dripping Springs Road on Sunday.
He says the initial call came in that 43-year old Eric Wright called 911 to report an unresponsive female.
Trooper McPherson reports that units responded and confirmed the death of 27-year old Rachel Tucker, of Princeton and that a preliminary investigation indicated that foul play was suspected.
Wright was interviewed and subsequently charged with murder – domestic violence. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail under a $1 million bond.
The murder investigation is ongoing.
