Funeral Services for 77-year-old Frank Rochester “Peannie” Hendrix, Sr., of Cadiz, will be Friday afternoon, April 7, 2023, at 1:00, at King’s Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Friday morning at 11:00 at the funeral home.
Survivors include:
Wife – Shirley Hendrix, of Cadiz
Sons – Dion Hendrix (Sharon); Frank Hendrix, Jr., all of Cadiz
Daughters – Chandra Hendrix (Patrick), of Cadiz and Brandy Meaux, of Louisville
Brothers – Jeremiah Hendrix, Jr., of Indianapolis, IN; James Hendrix (Ida), of Baltimore, MD; and Louis Thomas Hendrix, of Tampa, FL
Sisters – Jerry Ann “Sista” Anderson, of Cadiz and Erma Mae Pollard, of Cleveland, OH
Grandchildren – Shanikita Stewart, Derenzo Mayes, Shirlisha Mayes, Davisanee Bingham, Ki’Rome Bingham, Christopher Goode, Laquiondra Meaux; Josiah Bridges, and Zadrian Hendrix

Frank Rochester “Peannie” Hendrix, Sr., was born in Cadiz, on November 1, 1945, to Jeremiah Lee Hendrix, Sr., and Ann Maria Irvin Hendrix. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Hendrix and Don Hendrix and three grandchildren: Corlaysia Meaux Dixon, Cedric Bingham, Jr., and Cori Antiva Dixon.
He passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at River Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
Frank was a member of Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church and worked at Fourshee Building Supply and was a concrete finisher. He also loved to fish.
