Funeral services for 70-year-old Gracie Choate, of Cadiz, will be 1 o’clock Monday afternoon at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the East End Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 o’clock until the funeral hour.

A son, Mark (April) Choate of Cadiz;
A daughter, Tina (Ben) Shinn of Clarksville, Tennessee;
Two brothers, David Edmonson and Paul (Phyllis) Edmonson, both of Cadiz;
A sister, Betty Smith of Eddyville;
Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She died Friday, March 31, 2023, at Tennova Health Care in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Born May 1, 1952, in Murray, Choate was the daughter of the late Albert Edmon1son and Mary (Simmons) Poyner. She worked as a painter alongside her husband for many years and worked with ceramics. She enjoyed going to yard sales, tending to her house plants and spending time with her grandkids. She most especially loved being Grandma and “GG” to her loved ones. Gracie was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church.
