Funeral services for 88-year-old Clarence “C.L.” McKinney, Sr., of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, will be noon Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 until the funeral hour Friday.
Survivors include:
A son, C.L. (Rhonda) McKinney, Jr. of Pegram, Tennessee;
A daughter, Elizabeth McKinney of Atlanta, Georgia;
A brother, Wilton Scott (Glenda) McKinney, of Clarksville, Tennessee;
A sister, Lona (Gene) Adkins, of Hopkinsville;
Two grandsons and one great-grandson.
He died Sunday, April 2, 2023, at his home.
Born April 2, 1935, in Bumpus Mills, McKinney was the son of the late Jack Wilton McKinney and Edna Scott McKinney. He was retired from Thomas Industries in Hopkinsville, where he worked in maintenance for 35 years and was also a longtime farmer. He enjoyed fishing, long walks, watching TV westerns and reading his Bible.
