Memorial services for 86-year-old Harold Segal, of Silver Spring, Maryland, will be Wednesday morning, April 5, 2023, at 10:00, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 9:00.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Wheeling, WV he was born December 13, 1936, the son of the late Saul and Ida Segal.
A graduate of Bethany College and Florida State University, Harold started his career as a political strategist and then worked as a manager for 30 years in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management before retiring to work as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. He was an avid golfer, enjoying his time outside. He was passionate about good food and a good joke. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife: Lois; his daughters: Rebecca Segal (Bob Wieman) and Katherine Bennett (Peter Bennett); and grandsons: Dexter and Alexander Wieman and Patrick and Ryan Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the National Diabetes Foundation.
