In a combined effort of the Hopkinsville Public Works Department and the Hopkinsville Beautification effort, the Adopt-A-Street program is being started to help keep city streets beautiful and litter free, and make Hopkinsville more welcoming.
Heather Braun, the beautification coordinator for the city, said the Adopt-A-Street program is a cleanup campaign that allows members of the community to beautify neighborhoods which can prevent stormwater pollution, preserve the environment, keep streets and sidewalks clean, and build a more attractive Hopkinsville.
