Jean Hale, 80, of Hopkinsville

Funeral services for 80-year-old Jean Hale, of Hopkinsville, will be Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2023, at 1:00, at Northwest Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Poole Cemetery in Cerulean.

Visitation will begin Saturday at 11:00 at Northwest Baptist Church.

Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Evansville, IN she was born February 4, 1943, the daughter of the late Billy Ray Morris and Virginia Arlene Langston. She was a housekeeper having worked at Country Inn, Northwest Baptist Church, and Sanctuary, Inc. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and Nursery Director. She loved her family and was a proud “Nana.” She was a devout Christian and was never shy about sharing her faith. She was good with crafts and would use her talent to help with decorations at church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Earl Hale; her stepfather: Walter Langston; her grandson: Zeke Thomas; her sister: Louis Parker; and her brothers: Tommy Langston, Ronnie Morris, Terry Morris, and Bobby Langston.

Survivors include her children: Kimberly (Anthony) Borneman of Hopkinsville, Nicky (Bobby) Adamov of Mount Sterling, KY, Kevin (Rose) Thomas of Antioch, TN, and Terry (Yvonne) Hale of Cerulean; her brothers: Tyrone (Kathy) Morris of Momence, IL, Danny Morris of Cocoa, FL, and Ricky (Shawn) Langston of Hopkinsville; her grandchildren: David Borneman currently Overseas, Brandon (Madeline) Borneman of LaFayette, Shane (Amber) Adamov of Hopkinsville, Courtney (Camryn) Samples of Mount Sterling, KY, Cody Adamov of Hopkinsville, Zeb Thomas of Antioch, TN, Zanna Thomas of Antioch, TN, Zach Thomas of Antioch, TN, Lucas Hale of Cerulean and Logan Hale of Cerulean; and her great-grandchildren: Jason and Elizabeth Borneman both of LaFayette, Aurora Borneman of Oak Ridge, NJ, Tanner Adamov and Briar Sheene of Hopkinsville, Trinity and Autumn Barrett of Somerset, KY, Carson Samples of Mount Sterling, KY, and David Tramell of Antioch, TN.
