Casey Jones Distillery is again launching two official eclipse spirits to celebrate the 2024 Great American Total Solar Eclipse.
Peg Hays, an owner of the area tourist attraction, says the countdown is on to April 8, 2024. That date will be the next total eclipse in America, with the closest area for viewing it being Paducah.
On Saturday, the distillery will launch a Total Eclipse Moonshine and Total Eclipse Bourbon, with a chance to bottle your own. This follows the successful bottling run for the August 21, 2017, eclipse. Throughout the day, attendees will be able to enjoy a local food truck and listen to the music of the Alonzo Pennington Band in the evening.
The whole day will be a family and pet-friendly event, with free admission for everyone.
Casey Jones Distillery is located at 2815 Witty Lane in Hopkinsville.
