A man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on Greenville Road Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called for a report of a possible drunk driver and located the vehicle driven by Andre Reekie around Dogwood Kelly Road.
A detective with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit reportedly attempted to stop Reekie and he fled at speeds of 40 mph.
Deputies say the pursuit came to an end at the 13000 block of Greenville Road after the detective used a precision immobilization technique to disable his vehicle.
Reekie was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, DUI third offense, driving on a DUI suspended license and first-degree criminal mischief.
