Christopher Pavelchik, 62, of Allensville

A memorial service for 62-year old Christopher James Gerard Pavelchik, of Allensville, will be Thursday morning, April 13, at 11:00 with full military honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pavelchik passed away Friday, December 16, 202 at 6:00 p.m. at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Pavelchik was born July 2, 1960 in Sacramento, CA. He was the co-owner operator of the Dancing Dragon Tattoo in Oak Grove, KY since 1983 it is the oldest one in Kentucky. He was a graduate of Rancho Cordova High School. He was U.S. Army veteran. Pavelchik worked as a Military Secruity Contractor in Iraq for Edinburgh Risk and Management from 2004 to 2006. He is preceded in death by his parents Frederick Pavelchik and Mary Helen OConnor Pavelchik, and his brother Ted Pavelchik.

He is survived by his wife Laura Kay Pavelchik of Allensville, KY, his son Ryan Gibney and his wife Rachel of Bowling Green, KY, his daughter Erin Gibney of Youngstown, OH, his brothers, Terrance, Tom, Timothy, Craig and Danny Pavelchik all of Sacramento, CA and Mark Pavelchik of Idaho, his sister Marianne Di Martini of Sacramento, CA, and 7 grandchildren.
