The Cadiz Rotary Auction comes with a chance to highlight the Trigg County organizations that are doing the work to help those in need.
On Monday and Tuesday nights, dinner was provided by the Helping Hands of Trigg County group, which ensures those in our community who need food get it.
Helping Hands co-chair KG Ariagno told Your News Edge the community support on both nights was fantastic.
The organization operates a food bank located at 21 Line Street in Cadiz. Ariagno said they will never turn down anyone who needs assistance.
Helping Hands moved its beloved Bargain Barn to Main Street in November 2021, and the community has stepped up following that move.
Donations to the Bargain Barn can be brought to the back of the building with any items that can be re-sold being accepted.
As the organization looks to the future, Ariagno said the need for new volunteers continues to be necessary.
