Mattie Sue Brown Watts, 78, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 5:22 a.m., Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Highland Cemetery in Guthrie, Kentucky with Rev. Paul Vaugan officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
A native of White County, Tennessee she was born on January 3, 1945 the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Brown and Virgie Belle Ledford Brown. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Sue Miller and her brother, Si Thomas Brown.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Sparta Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son: Billy Dean Watts of Celina, TN; her niece, Tommis Ross Brown of Hopkinsville, KY; her nephews, James Darrell (Angela) Brown and Charles L. (Jeannette) Brown both of Hopkinsville, KY and seven grandchildren.
