Funeral services for 94-year-old Thelma Dorothy Johnson Wells, of Hopkinsville, will be 2 PM Monday, April 17, at Northwest Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the funeral hour at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Survivors include:
Three children: Danny Wells and Debbie (Bruce) Wells Jones, both of Hopkinsville, and Janie (Cary) Wells Allen of St. Augustine, Florida;
Six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Wells died at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.
Rev. David Tucker is officiating.
A native of Todd County, she was born February 24, 1929, the daughter of the late Jesse Johnson and Lola Mae Smith Johnson. She worked as a molding machine operator at Phillips Products for 26 years. She was a life-long resident of the Todd and Christian County areas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Wells; four brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Wells may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice.
