A child was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Broad Street Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say an SUV driven by 46-year-old Joseph Walker of Hopkinsville was northbound going around 10 mph when he collided with a 5-year-old child from Hopkinsville that was coming into the roadway from a driveway.
Spencer was taken by private vehicle to the hospital for injuries. The crash happened around 8 pm.
