A man was severely injured in a wreck on Rockcastle Road at Kampton Saturday afternoon.
Trigg County emergency personnel say a southbound car crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a truck.
The driver of the car was extricated from his vehicle by the Trigg County Rescue Squad and then taken to a waiting helicopter to transport him to a hospital for severe injuries.
The crash happened just before 6 pm. The road is expected to be closed until 10 p.m. as Kentucky State Police reconstruct the crash.
