Kaitlin Nicole Thorpe, age 33, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother Joey Snyder officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Ms. Thorpe was born in Madisonville, KY, on November 27, 1989, the daughter of the late Stephanie Denise Thorpe Jones. Kaitlin was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She loved volunteering at her church, music, singing karaoke, University of Kentucky basketball, and art. She enjoyed attending Active Day. In addition to her mother, her grandmother, Carolyn Thorpe, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sister, Carrie Ann Jones of Hopkinsville; her aunt, Natalie Lyle of Hopkinsville; her niece, Brayelle of Hopkinsville; her father, Freddie Jones of Elkton; her cousins, Jordan Lopez, and Erin Lyle; her second cousins, Colin, Julian, Hayden, Silas, Sofia, Owen, Johnathan, and Christian.
