Christian County Public School Buses are going electric. At least a handful are after a unanimous vote by the School Board Thursday night. Assistant Superintendent, Josh Hunt says, in the fall, they were recipients of the EPA’s Clean Bus Program.

click to download audioThe buses will be 72-passenger, which is consistent with standard buses, and will have the capability of traveling 90 to 130 miles before needing a charge. The Board also approved the purchase and installation of four charging stations that will be located near the old Christian County Middle School and Gateway Academy.
