A Paducah man was charged after he allegedly fled from law enforcement on Interstate 24 in Christian County Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 21-year-old William Miller for not having tail lights at the 81-mile marker and he fled at speeds of 96 mph.
The pursuit came to an end when he attempted to use a turnaround at the 78-mile marker and laid the motorcycle down.
Miller was arrested and reportedly found to have a canceled registration plate, no valid insurance, and THC vape pens.
He is charged with speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police, no tail lamps, no brake lights, careless driving, improper passing, possession of synthetic drugs, failure to maintain required insurance, and no registration plates.
