After a few days with temperatures above 80 degrees, a cold front will knock them down, introducing heavy rain and the potential for frost.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says the chance for rain will be Friday with the front moving through before Friday night.
Powell adds by Tuesday, rain will again become likely.
The next couple of weeks appears not to be an ideal time to plant.
