Christian County Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen will have a chance to finish the remainder of former prosecutor Rick Boling’s term.
Christian County Democrat Party officials confirmed to the News Edge that Bolen was chosen as the Democrat candidate during the party’s recent county meeting on April 19. Bolen was appointed Commonwealth Attorney by Governor Andy Beshear in March after Rick Boling was allowed to retire on February 28.
The Christian County Republican Party has not named a Commonwealth’s Attorney candidate yet. Republican party officials say they will likely wait until after the May Primary Election.
