Beginning Tuesday, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will conduct asphalt paving along a section of KY 274/Rockcastle Road in northern Trigg County.
The project runs along from mile point 8.92 at the intersection of Goose Hollow Road and Handy Korner, and extends northward through the Rockcastle area to the Trigg-Lyon county line at mile point 10.96.
It’s a distance of just over two miles.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment facilitating the work.
This $245,000 maintenance paving project is expected to take about two weeks to complete. The project is weather dependent.
