Police have released more information about a wreck involving a school bus on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a truck and trailer driven by 44-year-old Bento Bautista of Hopkinsville was turning onto South Main Street from East 14th Street and pulled into the path of a school bus driven by 55-year-old Chiquita Pearce of Hopkinsville.
According to the Christian County Public School System, no students were on the bus.
Pearce and her passenger 48-year-old Tamara Payne of Hopkinsville were taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for possible injuries.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m.
