A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of drugs after she was arrested on an active warrant on North Jessup Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 21-year-old Jalayshia Bussell who was walking in the area due to her having an active warrant for contempt of court.
During the arrest, she reportedly admitted to having meth and marijuana on her and she was found to have an unknown powder substance on the end of a straw.
She was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of meth, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
