A Lake Wind Advisory has been issued for western Kentucky from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Tuesday.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says to expect northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected. They add strong winds and rough chop on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft.
Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds and rough waves can overturn small boats.
