A Cadiz man and woman were charged with robbery after a shot was fired and a dog was stolen in Trigg County Tuesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 25-year-old Dylan Parker and 22-year-old Kquiara Sutton went to the home of 34-year-old Aaron King trying to get a dog they claimed belonged to Sutton.
King would not let them inside or give them the dog and Parker reportedly fired a shot through the front door and kicked it open as King exited the back of the home.
Deputies say Parker and Sutton took the dog and fled the area but were later located on Princeton Road.
Parker and Sutton were both arrested and charged with first-degree robbery. King was also found to have active warrants for failure to appear and probation violation and he was also arrested.
