Thirteen small business owners in Hopkinsville will serve as visionaries for growth in the city. City Council voted Tuesday night to approve the first reading of an ordinance creating the Small Business Commission.

In other business, City Council voted to put Stop Signs up at the intersections of Donna Drive and Mark Drive, Donna Drive and Shelia Drive, Sivley Road and Sheridan Circle, Sivley Road and South Sheridan Circle, and Sheridan Circle and Early Drive.
