Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation will host its annual Touch-A-Truck event Saturday at DeBow Park.
Hopkinsville Police Department Public Information Officer Royale Marfil tells Your News Edge activities will kick off at 10:00 AM.
Marfil adds that families with sensory sensitivities can enjoy the event from Noon to 1:00 PM. During that time, sirens and lights will be turned off. The sensory activities are made possible by the Pennyroyal Center.
The entire event is sponsored by Huhtamaki of Hopkinsville. Second Baptist Church will provide a hot dog lunch. Free snow cones, face paintings, and more will also be offered during the event.
