A Hopkinsville man was charged after a report of a burglary in progress at Brandon’s Towing on North Main Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 36-year-old Johnathan Maldonado was found on the property and fit the description of the man who was seen on camera by the owner cutting the fence.
He reportedly had gloves, cutting tools, and a flashlight with him. Police say more tools were found in his vehicle which was parked in Riverside Cemetery.
He was arrested and charged with attempted third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
