A celebration of Jesus through the life of a redeemed servant for 70-year-old Michael Wayne McKinney, of Hopkinsville, will be held Wednesday afternoon, May 10, at 1:00, at Living Hope Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the church.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Michael passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at his home of natural causes.
He was born in Princeton, KY, on February 8, 1953, the son of the late Joan Rowland Oden. Michael served as a pastor for different churches throughout Trigg and Christian Counties and the owner of Finely’s Service Center. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by, his daughter, Stephanie McKinney; and his brother, Dwight McKinney.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Paula Finley McKinney; his sons, Chad McKinney (Toshia) of Brentwood, TN, Brandon McKinney (Ashley) of Hopkinsville; his brothers, Larry McKinney (Charla) of Hopkinsville, David Oden (LaQuita) of Hopkinsville; his sister, Debbie McKinney Sills (Jim) of Richmond, KY; and three grandchildren, Cabot, Hudson, and Baron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Ave, Hopkinsville, KY 42240
