A woman who fed thousands of people during her career is being remembered for her love and dedication for cooking at Lake Barkley State Park.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12, at King’s Funeral Home for 62-year old Hattie Cheatham. Visitation will begin at 11 prior to the funeral service at noon.
Hattie was a Retired Head Chef from Lake Barkley State Park after 33 years of service. Hattie was often seen at most popular events at the park. She was also was concerned about the quality of the food that she and her team prepared.
She was a member of the Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church where she was a Senior Usher, a member of the mixed choir and at a younger age she served as Sunday School Secretary.
