Funeral services for 74-year-old Bobby Davis, of Hopkinsville, will be 2 PM Thursday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
His wife of 55 years, Sherri Davis;
A son, Bradley Scott of Hopkinsville;
A daughter, Dana Virtue of Missouri;
Two sisters, Mary Ann Malinowski (Fred) of Michigan and Shirley Chaffin (Steve) of Cadiz;
Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rev. Phillip Brumfield will be officiating.
Davis was born June 22, 1948, in Hopkinsville, the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Harris Davis. He worked and retired from Sysco Food Service as a sale representative. He was an avid UK basketball fan and loved to play golf.
He served seven years in the National Guard and was a member of Kelly Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Davis, in 1988, and his sister, Joyce Carol Fife.
