A Hopkinsville man was arrested Tuesday morning on a warrant for rape that allegedly happened in November of 2022.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested a 19-year-old man on a warrant that stated he raped a woman that he had been in a relationship with in 2022 on the Hopkinsville Rail Trail.
She reportedly agreed to go on a walk with him and during the walk, he forcefully raped her under a bridge and in the woods while she asked him to stop.
The man was arrested in Todd County in charge with two counts of first-degree rape.
