The Pembroke Ruritan Club is welcoming everyone to the southern Christian County community to enjoy a pork chop dinner and auction Saturday night.
Ruritan Club member Jack Lackey tells Your News Edge admission to the annual dinner is $10 a person.
Pembroke Mayor Jeanette Aldridge says there will be a lot of items in the auction.
Lackey adds the Ruritan Club began about 50 years ago.
Lackey says they aren’t sure where the funds raised will go, but they help the community in various ways.
The pork chop dinner will start at 5:00 PM Saturday, with the auction beginning at 6:30. The fundraiser will occur at the Pembroke Ruritan Community Center on Highway 41 next to the Minit Mart.
