The charges stem from March 13, 2022, when a woman called Hopkinsville Police for a person that was possibly deceased inside her home just before 10:00 that night. Kellems was found inside the woman’s home on North McPherson Avenue and pronounced deceased by the Christian County Coroner’s Office. Bowden reportedly used a knife to cut Kellem’s throat.
