A vehicle and a riding mower were found vandalized after a fire at a Tanglewood Drive home in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say sometime between November 1st and Tuesday someone damaged a 1983 Mercedes-Benz and a riding mower that were in a detached garage behind a home that suffered severe fire damage.
Hopkinsville firefighters say they were called to the home around 2 a.m. after a neighbor noticed smoke coming from the house. The fire is believed to have started around a vehicle in the attached garage and spread to the attic of the home causing severe damage.
Police say around 9 am they were contacted for a criminal mischief report when a mower and vehicle were found to have been damaged.
No arrest has been made in the cause of the fire was unknown.
