Officials from the City of Cadiz have announced the resignation of Janelle Nichols-Halsted, the current city event director.
Her last day will be Wednesday, May 31, while the city is beginning the search for her replacement immediately.
Nichols-Halsted has been heavily involved in planning the 2023 Trigg County Country Ham Festival, as well as the Trigg County Farmer’s Market and the Cadiz Junque Fest.
She is the third person to resign from the position since Casey Parrent left in August 2021 after serving in that capacity for about two years.
