A Nortonville teenager was killed in a UTV crash on Grapevine Road in Crofton Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say the 16-year-old Landon Grigg was severely injured in a crash on his side-by-side near the county line.
He reportedly lost control on the gravel road causing the UTV to overturn several times before hitting a tree ejecting him.
Grigg was given CPR and then rushed to Jennie Stuart Health where he later died. A passenger in the UTV was not injured in the crash.
The crash was reported to authorities just after 5 a.m. The crash is being investigated by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were assisted by Hopkinsville EMS, Crofton Fire Department, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, and Christian County Rescue.
