Heritage Christian Academy’s graduating seniors were honored during the school’s annual graduation ceremony May 18 at the Bruce Convention Center.
Jacob Bottoms was recognized as class valedictorian. He is a National Merit Scholarship finalist. Bottoms will major in biology at the University of Louisville. Miranda Brown was named the class salutatorian. She will major in English at Suffolk University in Boston.
Twenty-seven seniors graduated this year. Among those was Emanuel Diaz, Jr, who graduated on May 4 so he could begin basic training for the U.S. Army.
Headmaster John Walsh instructed the graduates to turn their tassels after receiving their diplomas.
