Oasis Marinas, the largest marina management company in the United States, recently added Eddy Creek Marina Resort to its expanding portfolio.
Officials with the organization noted Eddy Creek — located on Lake Barkley and in Eddyville — said they wanted the beautiful resort, which features more than 200 wet slips, several cabins, some RV pads, a fuel dock, a ship store, an on-site restaurant and a heavy entertainment calendar throughout the summers.
The marina also offers boat rentals, boat detailing and boat repair.
Kenneth Svendsen, CEO of Oasis Marinas, wrote that he’s “thrilled” to be taking over Eddy Creek Marina’s management, and called it a “beautiful destination located on a great body of water.”
Specifically, Oasis Marinas will now look to “elevate the boater experience,” which as is currently nests in a 58,000-acre reservoir. It’s a popular destination for Midwesterners because of calm waters and scenery, while providing a full definition of lake life.
Svendsen called Eddy Creek Marina a “valuable addition to the portfolio.”
Currently, Oasis Marinas operates more than 50 properties, which compiled equates to more than 8,000 wet and dry slips, as well as hundreds of RB pads in 15 states. More than 500 employees typically handle at least 13,000 guests annually.
