A teenager was injured in an accident involving a hay bale spike on Butler Road in Christian County Friday night.
Christian County emergency personnel say a 13-year-old suffered severe injuries to his leg in an accident involving a hay bale spike.
The teenager was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that transferred him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
The accident happened at the 9000 block of Butler Road.
