Funeral services for 75-year-old Morris Wayne Roberson, of Herndon, will be Tuesday morning, June 6, at 11:00, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery.
Visitation will take place Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and beginning at 10:00 Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
He passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Roberson was born in Nashville, TN on April 5, 1948. The son of the late James and Florence Granthan Roberson. Morris worked at Bell Farms from 1991 to 2018, where he retired after 27 years. He loved being outdoors, traveling, and watching reruns of Andy Griffith and Gunsmoke. Morris was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an active member of the Lester Memorial Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Roberson and Bobby Roberson; and his sister, Brenda Hester.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Pam Roberson of Herndon; his son, Michael Bowles (Lisa) of Hopkinsville; his daughters, Cindy Warrick (Scott) of Murfreesboro, TN, Hope Justice (Terry) of Manchester, TN, Chely Bowles of Heritage, TN; his brothers, James Roberson (Beth) of Texas, Jack Roberson (Amy) of Tennessee; his sister, Kathy Bennett (Danny) of Tennessee; his eight grandchildren, Mary-Amber Adams, Hailey Anderson, Kerstin Tross, Grace Justice, Waylon Bowles, Jackson Bowles, Savannah Bowles; and his five great-grandchildren, Carlie Adams, Olivia Anderson, Maddie Adams, Willow Bridges, and Waylon Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Lester Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4450 Casky Lane, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
