Trigg Hospital’s Renovated Rooms Open

The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting Friday morning at Trigg County Hospital for six new private rooms.

Hospital CEO John Sumner said the rehabilitated wing of the hospital will better serve the community.

Kentucky Hospital Association’s Vice President of Member Services, Harold Warman, Jr., said their organization represents over 120 hospitals in the Commonwealth. He added they focus on the hospitals in rural areas and that it’s extremely gratifying to see the work done at Trigg County Hospital.

Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries said the upgrade to the hospital will only help the community grow.

Trigg County Hospital now features eighteen private to semi-private rooms, with eighteen new hospital beds expected at some point this year after action from the hospital board in April.
