A wreck on Dawson Springs Road at Witty Lane in Christian County sent a woman to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 51-year-old Jennifer Houchens was northbound when she ran off the road and hit a utility pole causing the vehicle to overturn.
The crash caused electrical lines to hang low and block the road with a fire to starting in the woodline
Houchens was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of her injuries.
The crash happened just after 1 pm.
