Pennyrile Electric is hosting its annual Member Appreciation events over the next two weeks.
The Cadiz event was held Monday, with President/CEO Alan Gates telling Your News Edge they will cover their entire service area with these events.
Gates says the events serve as a time for the company to answer any questions.
He adds they are working on expanding internet services with the help of Hopkinsville Electric System and energynet.
At each event, Pennyrile Electric is giving away five $100 prizes. Wednesday, officials will hand out free buckets and light bulbs at the office on Harrison Street in Hopkinsville, while Elkton-Todd County Park will host an event Friday. Both will take place from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
