A man was charged with burglary after he reportedly broke into a home and tried to take food on West 13th Street in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 57-year-old Timothy Dudley who had been given a trespass warning in April entered the home uninvited and tried to take the food the owner was eating. Dudley was located at his home and while being arrested threatened the officer and while at the jail became confrontational and tried to pull away when officers attempted to put him in handcuffs again.
He is charged with second-degree burglary, menacing, and resisting arrest.
