Three family members indicted by a Christian County grand jury on sexual assault and incest charges were arraigned in circuit court Wednesday before Judge Andrew Self.
20-year-old Marcus Nolt of Britmart Road is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 and two counts of incest of a victim under 18.
The indictment alleges Nolt sexually assaulted his sister, who is under 12 years old, on two occasions in 2021 and sexually assaulted his brother and a different sister during the same time frame.
Nolt entered a not-guilty plea and was given a $100,000 bond and ordered to wear an ankle monitor. He is scheduled to be back in court on July 26.
The parents of Marcus — 49-year-old Nathaniel Nolt and 50-year-old Alma Nolt — were also arraigned Wednesday. They are both charged with first-degree facilitation of first-degree sexual abuse; facilitation of two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12; and three counts of facilitation of incest of a victim under 18.
The indictment said the parents knowingly allowed their son to commit the sexual assaults of his siblings in their home.
The parents also entered not-guilty pleas with their bonds also set at $100,000. They are scheduled to be back in court on July 12.
The case was investigated and presented to the grand jury by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
