Services will be Tuesday, June 20 at 1:00 at the Virginia Street Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 at the Virginia Street Baptist Church.
Frances, the daughter of the late Willie and Annie Bell Clardy, was born on December 5, 1930, in Montgomery Co. TN.
Frances was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church where she was the Dorcas Missionary President, Sunday School Teacher, and member of the Mass Choir, The Virginians, and Church Women United. She was a Deputy Clerk for the Christian County Court and Ward Secretary at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Frances was a Mary Kay Consultant for many years and a member of the Business of Professional Women. She was the CEO/Owner of Frances Hat Corner and JQ Fashions & Art Gallery.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Quarles, Sr.; Son, James R. Quarles, Jr.; Siblings, Willie Bell McMillian, Pat Cross, Harry Clardy, Russell Clardy, Geneva Woods, Shirley Thomas, and Wanda Clardy.
Survivors include her sister, Bertha Scott; a host of nieces and nephews, and relatives.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
