Mrs. Linda Shumake, age 65 of the Claymour Community passed away on Thursday, June 15th at her home.
Linda was born April 15th, 1958, in Todd County daughter of the late James Mallory and Martha Shemwell.
She loved her family, shopping, dancing, and growing flowers, she attended Stokes Chapel Church.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Jerry Shumake. She is survived by one son Jonathan Shumake (Amanda) of Sharon Grove as well as one brother James P. Mallory of Claymour and two sisters Patricia Lee of Pembroke and Wanda Mallory of Claymour. Also surviving are two grandchildren.
Visitation with the Shumake family will be held on Monday, June 19th from 11:00 until 2:00. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Monday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating, interment to follow at the Gant Cemetery.
